Fact, the employees did the best thing that they could do with what they were working with other then closing the hotel down. Fact, 06/17/2024 My wife and I checked in at 1pm, this was the first mistake by the Management/Staff don't get me wrong I was very happy to be checked in early, Fact, we immediately went to the room upon opened the door we were greeted by a blast of ice cold air the room thermostat was set at 55 degrees and it was Cold, not to worry I know how to adjust a thermostat, I set it to heat and 73 degrees, we had some running around to do and came back 4hrs. Later it's now 5:05 pm plenty of time for the heater to work and warm up the room. Fact, they have a very nice dinner menu and a little bar, so we decided that we would eat a nice dinner and maybe a glass of wine, we were immediately seated and greeted by the server, was given a 1 sheet of paper that had nothing but sandwiches, not the menu advertised, and she explained that the hotel had turned off the gas to the building that morning to make repairs so the kitchen was closed. Sat in the dinning room ordered Doordash to be delivered to our room and enjoyed a cold beer and then headed back to the room Fact, upon entering the room it's still ice cold thermostat reads 59 degrees, now I'm not the only one upset remember the saying Happy Wife happy life, now we have a problem she just want to take a hot shower, well as you might have like myself figured it out, kitchen is closed because no gas heater in room doesn't work because of no gas, not to be let down by the shower as it didn't have hot water, I called the front desk and they sent a maintenance man to check on the heat everything was set correctly and he had no idea what the problem was. I called back to the front desk requesting another room but by now it's 9pm I have a doctor's appointment across the street first thing in the morning so we suck it up trying to stay warm thru the night because the front desk said everything will be back to normal by 10pm. Fact, my alarm went off on time and I quickly go to the bathroom turn on the shower it's cold let it run for 20min and now it's colder. At this point I'm mad as I needed to shower before having surgery across the street. Fact, if one person at check in had notified us of the situation at the beginning of the check in, we would have had other options such as a different hotel, and now I find myself writing a review justifying a 1 STAR review. Fact attached are photos of Mold in the carpet and bottom of wall, from water leaking behind the shower thru the wall, air register hanging by 1 screw, lotion dispenser pulled away from wall. Seal to keep water in the shower not attached to anything, shower head spray either to the left or the right never facing you and it dribbles, in all honesty this is probably the worst hotel in Temple Texas. Fact, in the end we froze all night and took a near freezing shower. Fact after much complaining we did receive the room Compensat

Rachel at the front desk was very friendly, professional, and informative. We checked in Saturday April 27th, and everything went smoothly. Our room was exactly what we had requested. Everything was clean, neat, and acceptable. Rachel’s customer service made the experience pleasant, others we were traveling with unfortunately did not get the same experience from another front desk employee who will remain unnamed, because it was very busy we understand things can be flustering. We thank Rachel for her kindness.

This is a very nice hotel. It is clean and an up to date hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only issue I had was I was charged for the room and then a separate charge on my CC for the difference from my diamond honors food allowance and the actual cost of breakfast, this creates an issue as I didn’t get a separate receipt and now have an issue with my expense report as I don’t have a receipt to match the expense. When I called the hotel the gentleman I spoke with said he didn’t have a way to send me a separate receipt for that transaction. If I stay here again I will skip breakfast and go someplace else for breakfast where I can get a receipt for it.

Great location and modern property Spacious room and near alot of restaurants to dine in. I did not get to take advantage of indoor pool or breakfast as I was there for a business meeting. Only bad thing was while settling into room, smoke alarms went off and I spent time standing outside in the Texas heat versus relaxing or doing work.

I stayed at the hotel when I was in town. Austin, at the front desk when I arrived, was so professional, friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the a/c has been turned down for me. The bed was the most COMFORTABLE I have ever had in any hotel EVER. Breakfast was not complimentary, but it was well worth the cost.

Chose due to familiarity with chain, as well as location close medical center and restaurants. Turned out to be a terrific property. Front desk service was great as well as restaurant staff. Had a great stay the night before surgery.

We arrived in Temple earlier than we anticipated so we called the hotel to see if we could get an early check in, they allowed us to check in at 11:00 AM with no additional fee. The room was clean and spacious. There was sufficient storage space in the bedroom and living room area. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel team members were very professional and friendly they greeted us every time we came through the lobby and checked to make sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. They provided a list of local restaurants and other services located near the hotel. I would definitely without hesitation stay at this hotel again.

The guy trey that works the front desk and the lady that runs the buffet. Seriously the worst people I have ever encountered. They treated me so bad. I have never been treated the way they treated me. Just following me. Watching me get breakfast. Like I was gonna steal something. I had been driving 6 hours with my kids. I was exhausted. So I looked tired But it was no reason to treat me the way they didn. Trey also accused me of lying!! Then he charged my credit card double for absolutely no reason!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Hotel was clean & contemporary with friendly employees. Pearl at breakfast was a delight. She was very friendly and helpful. We have stayed at several hotels in Temple & this is the best.
